Watch Movie – The Lovely Bones… Thomas Craven, a single father, has been a Boston homicide detective for many years. His 24-year-old daughter Emma, his only child, is killed on the front steps of his home. At first it appears that Craven was the intended target. He soon uncovers evidence that leads him to think differently, and decides to pursue the information at all costs. A stunning performance from Robin Williams as a dad who leaves much to be desired with a dorky son, whose tendency to enjoy self strangulation ends up in an accidental suicide. His Father (Williams) then uses the subsequent fame his son’s suicide has generated in the school where both his son attended and he teaches, as a platform to promote his books and essays on the premise that his son wrote them. Julie Powell (Amy Adams) is a young writer trapped in a rather unpleasant job at the Lower Manhattan Development Corporation’s call center, where she answers telephone calls from victims of the September 11 attacks, as well as members of the general public calling to complain about the LMDC’s controversial plans for rebuilding the World Trade Center. The film is almost Pulp Fictionesque in its level of bad taste – something which i find totally refreshing for a Nicholas Cage movie. The story complicates as Bella finds out about Edwards hidden truth. |
