Well Worth Watching Movies

Thomas Craven, a single father, has been a Boston homicide detective for many years. His 24-year-old daughter Emma, his only child, is killed on the front steps of his home. At first it appears that Craven was the intended target. He soon uncovers evidence that leads him to think differently, and decides to pursue the information at all costs.

Sgt. Nicholas Angel is just about the perfect copper: honest, reliable, and dedicated to public duty. The only problem is that he is too good. He arrest record is so good that he is making everyone else look bad so he suddenly finds himself transferred to the picturesque village of Sandford. There he not only finds that the police force is less than ideal, but that there is in fact very little policing to do. The odd drunk and a few lads with a can of spray paint are about all there is to worry about. He becomes friendly with Constable Danny Butterman, who just happens to be the station chief’s son. Suddenly however, there is a rash of murders that leads him to believe there is a massive conspiracy to keep the village clean and inoffensive.

Nicholas Cage plays a bad (and i mean extremely bad, perverse, and decadent) cop in this movie. The film is almost Pulp Fictionesque in its level of bad taste – something which i find totally refreshing for a Nicholas Cage movie. I really enjoyed his totally corrupt behaviour and sexually twisted roleplay. The immense cheek and barefaced shamelessness which he adopts every time he takes a hit of crack ….

Watch Movie – Hannibal Rising is The fifth film to feature Dr. Hannibal Lecter. It is a prequel to Red Dragon, The Silence of the Lambs, and Hannibal in the Hannibal Lecter series. The film is an adaptation of Thomas Harris’ 2006 novel of the same name and tells the story of Lecter’s evolution into the infamous serial killer of the previous films and books

Policeman Marshal William T. O’ Niel has been transferred to the mining outpost located on Io, one of Jupiter’s moons. And O’ Neil is about to have the worst time of his life at the mining outpost, when he is assigned to investigate the violent deaths of miners, only to discover the miners have died of drug overdoses from a lethal drug. As O’ Niel sets out to find the drug dealers, he finds himself the target of hired assassins, whom have been hired to assassinate O’ Niel. With no help from the Police Force, O’ Niel sets out to stand against the drug dealers, as he begins to suspect the outpost’s corrupt administrator Sheppard may be involved with the drug dealers.

In the near future, humans live in isolation and only interact through robotic bodies that serve as surrogates. When several humans are murdered when their surrogates are destroyed, a cop (Bruce Willis) investigates the crimes through his own surrogate.

Absolutely stunning performance from Russel Crowe as a Newspaper Tabloid Journalist who is befriended with a statesman whose mistress is murdered and is recieving bad political exposure for his connection with the woman. The two friends get topgether to try to find out twhat lies behind the woman’s murder….

Boondock Saints – This film opens with mass in a Boston Catholic church, where Irish American fraternal twin brothers Connor McManus (Sean Patrick Flanery) and Murphy McManus (Norman Reedus) pray while a sermon is read, mentioning Kitty Genovese, a real-life crime victim brutally murdered while her neighbors watched without intervening. As the priest begins his homily, the brothers approach the altar and kiss the feet of a crucifix.

In the fall of 1959, for a time capsule, students draw pictures of life as they imagine it will be in 50 years. Lucinda, an odd child who hears voices, swiftly writes a long string of numbers. In 2009, the capsule is opened; student Caleb Koestler gets Lucinda’s “drawing” and his father John, an astrophysicist and grieving widower, takes a look.

Despite his notorious relationship with the Church, Harvard symbologist Robert Langdon is once again called upon to decipher the clues to a catastrophic conspiracy. The Pope has died, and before conclave can begin to determine his successor, the four preferitti (primary hopefuls for the papacy) are kidnapped.
