The horror comedy Zombieland focuses on two men who have found a way to survive a world overrun by zombies. Columbus is a big wuss — but when you’re afraid of being eaten by zombies, fear can keep you alive. Tallahassee is an AK-toting, zombie-slaying’ bad ass whose single determination is to get the last Twinkie on earth. As they join forces with Wichita and Little Rock, who have also found unique ways to survive the zombie mayhem, they will have to determine which is worse: relying on each other or succumbing to the zombies.

The film is almost Pulp Fictionesque in its level of bad taste – something which i find totally refreshing for a Nicholas Cage movie. I really enjoyed his totally corrupt behaviour and sexually twisted roleplay. The immense cheek and barefaced shamelessness which he adopts every time he takes a hit of crack …. This movie was made in the attempt to capture the flavour of Alan Moore’s comic book series, and it succeeded in bringing the frazetta style movements and poised action poses into the camera work. Time lapse and comic-art-like stills intersperse battle scenes to accentuate movement and bring action to the film.. which shouldnt be necessary in principle (because it is a moving film not a stil comic, and thus needs no accentuation of physical movement and other effects such as blood spattering to communicate the story but this is of course the point; the Movie wishes to transport us into the world of comic books and graphic novels and the wonderful artwork which was used in the original comic/graphic novel. Blade Trilogy is one of the Modern day Vampire success stories as far as Movies go – for me it is my favourite of all in the sense that all three movies are as good as each other (unlike the lycans films).
